Real Ear Verification

Real Ear Verification is a fitting process that uses probe microphones and the acoustics of your ear canal to appropriately and accurately fit hearing devices. Since no two ears are the same, the difference in the shape and size of the canal can ultimately affect how you’re hearing with your hearing device. Using programming software alone does not guarantee an accurate fit. This verification with the fitting of hearing devices allows the patient and their family members to immediately see and understand the benefits of hearing aids and fitting adjustments.
