Meet DR. ANDRES RAMIREZ

Dr. Andres Ramirez received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders in 2014 at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and his Doctorate from Lamar University in 2019.

During graduate school, Dr. Ramirez had several clinical rotations at private practice and ENT clinics throughout Houston and Austin including rotations at Texas Center for Hearing, Bay Area Audiology, Clarity Hearing, Estes Audiology, and South East ENT. Dr. Ramirez completed his 4^th year residency at Pearland Hearing Aids and Audiology in South Houston. During his residency he gained experience in diagnostic hearing testing, diagnostic hearing testing with speech in noise, tympanometry, tinnitus evaluations, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), real ear measurements/ live speech mapping, ear molds/ ear impressions, assistive listening devices, and wax removal/ ear cleanings. The position also required expertise with fitting, counseling and troubleshooting major international hearing aid manufacturers (Starkey, Siemens, Phonak, Oticon, Unitron, Widex and ReSound). After completing his 4th year residency, he worked as a Doctor of Audiology in Abilene at ENT Specialists of Abilene. As a native Austinite, Dr. Ramirez came back to Central Texas and became the Audiologist at Central Texas Hearing Center on November 2019.

Dr. Ramirez is licensed to practice Audiology in the State of Texas. He is a Member of the Texas Academy of Audiology (TAA). Dr. Ramirez has a passion for helping others and is patient and kind to everyone he sees.
