Dr. Phoebe Fertig received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with Special Honors for completing the Moody College of Communication’s Honors Program. She returned to the University of Texas at Austin to earn her Doctor of Audiology, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Dr. Fertig completed her audiology residency at Central Texas Hearing Center- Austin. Having built strong, meaningful bonds with both her patients and the team during that time, she was delighted to join the clinic permanently as a full-time audiologist.

Dr. Fertig brings specialized clinical expertise to diagnostic evaluations, advanced hearing aid technology, tinnitus management, and cochlear implants. Guided by a passion for evidence-based care across the lifespan, she tailors every treatment to the individual, blending high-level clinical skill with a patient-first philosophy. Dr. Fertig is licensed by the State of Texas and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

In her free time, Dr. Fertig enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Austin’s Hill Country, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns during the football season.
